About Macronix Golden Silicon Awards
As an incentive for universities and colleges across the country to enforce R&D innovation and extensive practical experience in the semiconductor field, the Macronix Electronics organized and held the first “The Macronix Golden Silicon Awards - Semiconductor Design and Application Competition” in 2000, awarding students and teachers every year since then. Over the past 22 years, nearly 5,000 teams and more than 17,000 teachers and students from universities and colleges have devoted their efforts to this competition. Every year, different artists are invited to start from "creativity" and use different materials to make the current trophy, which is the best interpretation of the combination of technological innovation and artistic creation.
38 colleges and universities and 275 teams signed up for the 22nd Macronix Golden Silicon Awards, with nearly 1,000 enthusiastic teachers and students having participated. The Macronix Golden Silicon Award has become a vital stage for teachers and students of electrical and electronic related fields to showcase their diverse creativity and R&D abilities.
